"... and after the
princess in the white wedding dress had waited for a while, a prince
in a golden coat came along to pay his court to the princess..."
Well, it is just a fairy tale that tries to make us believe that a prince just happens to come along. Female orange tips know better. They use a strategy to make him show up. One thing she uses is a perfume. She knows that he likes it - and that he'll go for it. She releases it in the air when she wants him to come. The other thing is that she keeps near plants that may serve as food to their offspring. For both genders, it is the common place to go and to find a partner of the other sex. Both partners know that. So it doesn't just happen that the prince and the princess meet - there is a strategy behind it. |
