The Death in a Flower - Not a Flying Egg

All insects...come here!

This is not a flying egg. This is Misumena vatia in the perspective as insects see it when they intend to land on a flower.

Although the crab spider can clearly be recognized, it successfully fails to be realized as a danger by approaching insects. Presumably this is due to its bizarre position: It resembles a blossom with its anthers (? pollen stems) sticking out.

Misumena vatia is widespread and common on meadows, in the vegetation of forest edges and in gardens.
