Secrets in Bunches: Small Bunches

 

Kleine Büschel auf Blättern ofer unter Rinde A close relative called Cryptocephalus vittatus also belongs to the leaf beetle family. 

The female, as her relatives, makes mysterious bunches, but these ones are much smaller. She doesn't put them at the end of stems, but mostly places them on bark, where they are well hidden.
