          Here a mature larva for the last time
          changes its outfit: it strips off its larval skin beneath which the
          new adult skin appears. It is soft and green in this state, but will
          turn darker and will harden while drying during the next few
          hours.
           The adult animal will then be able to fly and to look for a partner to produce offspring.  |
