Beetles in Bags: Eggs

 

Three dens filled with an egg, one remaining empty

At one time she pauses and cuts three or four dens into the underside of the leaf. 

Into each one, she places an egg.  

On the right, the epidermis (?) has been pulled down to show the egg beneath.

Beside, at this enlargement the little openings that a leaf breathes with show as light green spots.
