        In autumn, the
          wilted leaf roll drops.
Once José found a collection of leaf rolls on one of the huge (? common name for Petasites hybrides) leaves, that grew below a birch tree. |

| In autumn the larvae leave their rolls and hide in the ground, where they hibernate. They turn into a chrysalis in spring, where they hatch and start a new generation. |
