During the
rolling process, the bag has the shape of a funnel. It opens downward
and the tip of leaf forms the tip of the bag.
When the bag is finished, it has narrowed and the tip of the leaf is neatly folded inwards. The female "sows" the tip by biting it, thus hooking tiny bits of the leaf into one another. |
